The Impetus

Baltimore Spirits Company was founded with the raison d’etre of bringing Maryland Rye production back to it’s cultural home. We have grown to produce many spirits, all of which are dear to us, but Rye remains our North Star. All of our whiskey is mashed, fermented, distilled, and aged in house. It always has been and it always will be. We are a true pot still operation, like the first whiskey distilleries in America.
